Account Manager Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to expand our client base and nurture existing customer relationships in the sales arena. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering new projects and providing ongoing support within the commercial AV industry.

About This Position

You will manage and nurture existing customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. You will also prepare accurate quotations and system proposals for potential clients, handle stock procurement to facilitate smooth project execution, and collaborate with the sales team to identify and target potential customers effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Customer Relationships: Nurture existing customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Prepare Quotations and Proposals: Prepare accurate quotations and system proposals for potential clients.
  • Facilitate Project Execution: Handle stock procurement to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and target potential customers effectively.
  • Understand Customer Needs: Understand customer needs and objectives, proposing tailored AV technical solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Expand Client Base: Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to expand and enhance the existing customer base.
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Work closely with IT teams, faculty, and staff to identify and address technical challenges, providing expert guidance and delivering effective AV solutions.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Office 365 software for efficient data management and documentation.
  • Sales Experience: Prior sales experience will be advantageous.
  • Passion for AV Technology: Strong interest and passion for AV technology sales.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Residency Requirements: Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory.
  • Transportation: Must have own transportation.
  • Professionalism: Punctuality and professionalism are essential, including adherence to dress and language standards on-site.
  • Technical Concepts: Capability to comprehend technical concepts related to AV technologies and articulate them to non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving targets.

Requirements

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency, prior sales experience, and a strong interest in AV technology sales are required. Additionally, excellent communication skills, advanced knowledge of Office 365 software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for AV technology and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
