Skilled Tradesperson

About this role

We are seeking an experienced tradesperson with expertise in fitting and turning to join our team. This is a full-time position based in our workshop.

Main responsibilities

• Manufacturing parts using specific tools and dies for cutting and threading.
• Performing machining tasks such as lathe work, milling, line boring, grinding and welding.
• Carrying out maintenance and repair work on equipment and machinery.
• Fabricating and modifying parts and components as required.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve technical issues.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed.

Key qualifications and skills

• Hold a formal trade qualification or equivalent.
• Possess a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar tradesperson role.
• Be proficient in the use of various hand and power tools, workshop machinery and welding equipment.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Show attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
