Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a dynamic and collaborative team, providing haemodialysis treatments to patients with End Stage Kidney Disease. As a Nephrology Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering haemodialysis therapies to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit and administering plasmapheresis treatments to both inpatient and outpatient cohorts.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide haemodialysis treatments to chronic dialysis and acute kidney injury patients within the Dialysis Unit.
  • Deliver haemodialysis therapies to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
  • Administer plasmapheresis treatments to both inpatient and outpatient cohorts.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in nephrology nursing, working closely with experienced healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements:
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Qualifications & Preferences:
  • Recent clinical experience in Nephrology Nursing providing haemodialysis treatments.
  • Energetic and capable team player with a commitment to collaborative care.
  • Desirable experience in TPE.
  • Demonstrates understanding of chronic illness and its impacts on patients.
  • Compassionate, patient-centred approach to supporting individuals with chronic disease.
