Facility Overview:

The facility is a tertiary emergency and trauma centre, providing specialized complex surgical and medical care to a population of over 900,000. Our partners with local tertiary training organizations and hosts the Simulation Centre.

Specialty Opportunities:

  • G3 Cardiology and Gastroenterology: Training in cardiac monitoring and minor procedures
  • MACU: Rapid assessment, diagnosis, and stabilization of patients with acute medical conditions
  • E1 General Medicine: Comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic conditions
  • Rankin Park South: Rehabilitation unit focusing on post-amputation and deconditioning care
  • E2 Urology: General and complex surgical care across multiple specialties
  • E3 Elective Orthopaedics: Pre- and post-operative orthopaedic care
  • G2 Neurology & Neurosurgery: Care of patients with neurological conditions and neurosurgical patients
  • J3 General Surgery: Care for surgical procedures including colorectal and upper GI
  • G1S Trauma/ENT: Critical care for trauma and ENT conditions
  • F3 Cardiovascular and Vascular Surgery: Pre- and post-operative care for heart, lung, and vascular surgeries
  • 5D Rehabilitation: Orthopaedic rehab and deconditioning with complex discharge planning
  • F2: Respiratory, infectious disease, immunology, rheumatology, and dermatology
