Job Description

We are seeking individuals to join our team as Ward Volunteers, providing companionship and support to patients on a hospital ward.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assisting with meal delivery and patient needs
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
  • Supporting healthcare professionals with tasks such as replenishing drinks and sitting with patients
  • Running errands for patients to purchase newspapers/magazines/snacks
  • Assisting with meal preparation and serving
  • Cutting up food and opening packaging
  • Collecting and tidying up after meal service
Requirements

Applicants should be aged 18 or over and have an interest in a career in health and social care.
