About the Position

Credit Management Tasks
  1. Manage loan applications from inception to completion.
  2. Ensure accurate documentation is submitted to lenders.
  3. Co-ordinate with lenders, clients, and third parties to ensure a seamless process.
  4. Conduct regular compliance checks and provide timely updates to clients.
  5. Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up on outstanding information.
Administrative Support
  1. Provide administrative support to the management team.
  2. Assist in managing workflow and meeting deadlines.
  3. Ensure office systems, databases, and documentation are maintained accurately.
  4. Coordinate client meetings and facilitate internal communications.
  5. Perform general office duties such as handling calls, emails, and supplies.
Compliance & Reporting
  1. Ensure adherence to Australian regulations and industry standards.
  2. Prepare reports for management on loan applications and settlements.

Key Competencies

  1. Significant experience in loan processing or credit assessment (5+ years).
  2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage operational processes effectively.
  3. Proven ability to oversee end-to-end loan processing while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  4. Advanced knowledge of Australian mortgage products, lending policies, and compliance regulations.
  5. Excellent relationship management skills with experience liaising with clients and lenders.
  6. Demonstrated capacity for strategic problem-solving and decision-making.
  7. Superior communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  8. Proficient in loan processing software and CRM systems.
  9. A strong commitment to compliance and risk management.
  10. Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
  11. A high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
