We are seeking an experienced Midwife to join our team as a Postnatal Care Coordinator.

The role involves providing day-to-day assistance and support to the Midwife Manager to ensure a high standard of service provision in our Extended Postnatal Care (EPC) service. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and passionate midwife to grow their career in maternity and develop leadership skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical and administrative management of the EPC under the direction of the Midwife Manager
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve the quality of care provided to women and families
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current registration as a midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience in postnatal care and lactation support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
