About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our dynamic team at Robert Walters Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in the architecture of software applications and third-party solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Manage own tasks within an agreed framework and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Work closely with various teams including Enterprise Applications, Planning and Architecture, and Product Delivery.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Ensure that all solutions comply with our Architecture Management Framework, relevant industry standards, regulations, and security protocols.
  • Define standards and set expectations with respect to the application of proven software engineering techniques.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
  • Drive technical excellence across projects.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation for product lifecycle, project deliverables, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design robust systems that address complex business requirements.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and system designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with application development using Typescript, Node Js, PHP, or Python.
  • Knowledge of modern architectural design concepts, such as Domain Driven Design, Data Mesh, and event-driven architecture.
  • Understanding of object-oriented languages and paradigms.
