Expert Audiologist Required

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced audiologist to join our team at Hearing Australia.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing auditory concerns, providing high-quality hearing services to clients of all backgrounds and referring clients to other professionals when necessary.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing the auditory concerns of non-complex adult clients using established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards.
  • Providing appropriate rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
  • Referencing clients to other professionals or seeking guidance from more senior audiologists where needed.
  • Participating in providing services at visiting sites and home visits.
  • Liaising with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, other allied health professionals and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Audiology.
  • Full and current membership with Audiology Australia or ACAud.
  • Sound knowledge of clinical audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian audiology standards.
  • Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program.
  • Exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work.
