We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lawyer to join our Administrative Law & Legislation team as a full-time, ongoing basis.
About the Role:
- Provide legal advice on administrative law matters, legislation, and public interest disclosures affecting or involving IBAC.
- Assist in the preparation of inspections, reports, and other advice in relation to IBAC's Victoria Police Oversight role.
- Consider, assess, and respond to issues concerning IBAC's statutory and compliance obligations under the IBAC Act or any other laws.
- Draft high-level reports and maintain policies, procedures, and systems applicable to IBAC.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws or equivalent legal qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in administrative law, public law, or legislation.
- A practising certificate under the Legal Profession Uniform Law, or eligibility to acquire a practising certificate.

- A competitive salary range of $95,102 - $107,905 + super.
