About our Care Home

Bupa Pottsville Beach is a modern care home set in a peaceful NSW holiday village, just a short walk to the local beaches and less than an hour from the Gold Coast.

As a catering assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents by providing them with an empathetic and personal approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with basic food preparation
  • Provide meals and snacks to residents
  • Clear dining areas and wash dishes
  • Maintain legislated food hygiene and safety practices
  • Offer ad hoc support to the broader team as required, including laundry and cleaning

Requirements:

  • Cert III Hospitality highly regarded
  • Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
