Research Analyst Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join its Australian Industrial sector team. This role will involve supporting and contributing to research projects, analyzing individual companies, and providing data and insights to clients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on the Australian Industrial sector, maintaining detailed knowledge of key companies, and producing high-quality reports summarizing findings and predictions. The role will also involve collaborating with colleagues across domestic, regional, and global teams on research projects and developing relationships with industry participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Australian Industrial sector and its key players.
  • Conduct analysis and produce reports on individual companies and market sectors.
  • Develop financial models and interpret data on market, economic, and political events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on research projects and contribute to overall sector views.
  • Produce regular reports summarizing findings and predictions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Excellent financial modeling skills and a solid grounding in financial/accounting fundamentals are essential. The candidate should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
