IT Data Centre Engineer

The ideal candidate for this role will have a bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional experience.
Hands-on experience with one or more hardware platforms is essential, such as Dell or HP.
Previous experience working in a data centre environment includes skills in racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot and cold aisle containment, remote access, network equipment installation and configuration, Cisco IOS and NX-OS.
The successful candidate will also have knowledge of redundancy concepts, including power feeds, ATS, server hardware, RAID, and network connectivity. Additionally, they should be familiar with data centre operations, inventory management, hot/cold aisles, and security.
A strong understanding of project management principles and experience working with AWS products, such as EC2, EBS, and S3, are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure network equipment
- Manage data centre operations, including inventory and security
- Ensure redundancy and high availability of systems
- Participate in project management and implement process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with hardware platforms (e.g., Dell, HP)
