We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at Lucid Consulting Australia. As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and managing hydraulic engineering projects from design to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage hydraulic engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement hydraulic engineering designs, taking into account safety, efficiency, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Australian-recognised degree in Engineering or relevant trade background.
  • Hold national and/or regional registrations and qualifications or in the process of obtaining them (CPEng, NER, RPEQ or QBCC Designers License).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, written, and people skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident, with the ability to apply for security clearance if required.
  • Thorough understanding and application of the current plumbing and gas regulations, Australian standards, and the National Construction Code.
  • Diverse experience in a range of project types, including hydraulic engineering, water management, and infrastructure development.
  • Demonstrated capability in independently managing hydraulic elements on projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
