Project Cost Manager

About this Role:
- We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our project team in Perth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of monthly Value of Work Done (VOWD) reports
- Support tracking and managing variation costs against budgets
- Ensure accurate cost entry and coding for materials, plant, tooling, and equipment
- Tracking and analysis of material costs against budget
- Conduct regular audits to verify and adjust cost entries
- Review time allocations by offsite resources and coordinate approvals
- Initial vetting of incoming invoices for correct coding and matching to purchase orders
- Support Financial Analyst with the creation of Contractors monthly invoice
- Reconciliation of timesheet data against mobilisation records
- Prepare and communicate cost control procedures
- Cost control and forecasting against work order requirements
- Running commitment reports to monitor outstanding commitments
- Monitor project financial performance and report on commitment status
About You:
- A minimum of 5+ years experience in project controls, including at least 2 years as a Cost Controller
- Knowledge of financial management systems
- SAP FS M and Track'em experience highly regarded
- A proven track record of being responsible, flexible and an excellent communicator
- A strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
- Experience in industrial services and/or mining/oil and gas sector
