Manufacturing Engineer Role

At our Western Australian facility, we are seeking a proactive and technically strong Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve our heavy fabrication operations. This newly created position is designed for someone who thrives on problem-solving, process optimisation and delivering not just a quality product but a standout experience for internal teams and our end customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysing, establishing and improving manufacturing processes to ensure safe, consistent and specification-compliant output
  • Driving quality assurance and quality control initiatives to deliver a 100% in-specification product
  • Leading lean manufacturing projects that focus on waste reduction and continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, quality, operations and supply chain to develop and implement practical solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll be someone who brings both technical depth and a customer-first mindset. You will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) or equivalent hands-on experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering role
  • Strong experience in heavy fabrication, with a solid understanding of large-scale welded structures, complex assembly processes, and thick plate materials
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
  • Proven ability to resolve technical manufacturing problems and implement sustainable improvements
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
