We are seeking a skilled Mobile Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in native Android and iOS development, as well as proficiency in React Native.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and release mobile applications for Android and iOS using Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C, and React Native.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to convert UI designs into mobile components.
- Integrate mobile apps with back-end APIs and services, including Firebase and CMS platforms.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) across mobile platforms.
- Create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Write automated unit, integration, and functional tests; collaborate with QA teams.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle: design, development, deployment, code reviews, and maintenance.
- Extensive experience in mobile app development across Android and iOS.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating mobile apps with APIs and cloud services.
- Strong testing and QA collaboration skills.
- Ability to work across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in early-stage mobile app development and tool selection.
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript development for web applications.
- Containerisation with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Strong ownership, adaptability, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience working in government or public sector environments.
- Baseline or NV-1 Government Security Clearance.
