Montefiore is seeking dedicated individuals to provide personal care and support to clients in their homes in Maroubra.

As a caregiver assistant, you will be responsible for delivering support in various capacities and timeframes, including personal care, hoist experience, and social support.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, and feeding
  • Operate hoists to transfer clients safely
  • Provide manual handling support for clients
  • Offer social support and companionship

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with clients with complex needs
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar
  • Availability to work during the week and on weekends
  • Recommendation to have Covid-19 vaccine
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and NDIS Workers Check
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Driver's license and own vehicle
