Key Role: Assistant Director

The role of the Assistant Director is a crucial position in our service, requiring an individual with exceptional leadership skills to collaborate effectively with educators and drive educational programs forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and direction to educators through collaboration and support.
  • Offer guidance to educators to enhance practices and programs by effectively implementing the planning cycle.
  • Develop and implement innovative educational programs that are valuable to the service.
  • Ensure all learning is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework.

About You:

  • Hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma or Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • Experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check.
  • Display outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Be proficient in computer skills.
  • Hold a current approved First Aid Certificate.
  • Hold a current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
