The Opportunity

This role will lead our vulnerability management program and drive improvements in the Agency's technology security posture. The Senior Specialist, Security Vulnerability, will partner with Technology and business stakeholders to support secure system implementation, operation, and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and govern the Agency's vulnerability management program.
  • Collaborate with Technology teams and business stakeholders to triage, resolve, and escalate vulnerabilities and incidents.
  • Automate vulnerability scanning and reporting processes.
  • Generate timely, tailored reporting for technical, business, and executive audiences.
  • Mentor and support Agency teams in uplift of vulnerability management capability.
  • Monitor the security threat landscape and recommend enhancements.
  • Contribute to agency-wide governance, policy, and incident management activities.

About You

This role requires comprehensive expertise in vulnerability management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple environments and be able to interpret and prioritise vulnerability risk using standard frameworks.

Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical colleagues are essential. A passion for continual learning and maintaining awareness of emerging threats and relevant controls is also required.
