Are you a skilled Arborist looking for a new challenge in the field of tree maintenance? We are seeking an experienced Tree Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the City of Knox.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company, Citywide Service Solutions, providing tree maintenance services to local government. As a Tree Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of tree maintenance and replacement works as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing detailed condition audits, pruning, tree removal, travel tower work (EWP), electrical line clearance, chipper operation and stump removal
  • Ensuring work area is safe and adhering to safety protocols
  • Driving and maintaining heavy equipment in a safe and professional manner (trailer mounted machine, light trucks, tip-truck)
  • Looking out for the safety of self and others

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role as an Arborist or Tree Maintenance Specialist
  • Chainsaw Licence and current MR licence
  • Certificate II ESI and excellent work ethic
  • A positive attitude, ability to work safely and promote safety in the workplace
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Experience dealing with customers, clients and members of the public
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
