About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced warehouse professional to join our team as a Stock Picker/Packer. This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all stock in the warehouse, picking orders using safe manual handling procedures, and ensuring accurate inventory management. This position involves working on Monday to Friday from 7am to midday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and movements
  • Pick orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure stock is rotated correctly using 'first in first out' principles
  • Handle returned stock appropriately
  • Understand and adhere to HACCP regulations
  • Participate in site stock takes

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry
  • Forklift license essential
  • Understanding of OH&S and food safety programs
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work accurately with attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work overtime when required
