We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Autism Support Specialist to join our team at the Autism Association of WA.
As a key member of our residential support team, you will work directly with individuals with Autism and their families to provide person-centered support and enable them to live their best life possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support and assistance with personal care, domestic tasks, and community engagement.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to help clients achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other support staff to ensure a seamless and effective support service.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in Autism support.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with Autism.
You will possess:
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- A full driver's license (no P-plates).
- A suitable 4-door vehicle.
- Experience working with people with disabilities.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
What We Offer
In addition to making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with Autism, you will also receive:
- A competitive base salary plus superannuation.
- Nine consecutive days off every three weeks.
- Work only 1 in 3 weekends.
