Becoming a skilled Baker is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative environment.
• Job Responsibilities will include:
• Mixing and shaping different sourdoughs daily from scratch, shaping and laminating viennoiserie daily, creating special products weekly, preparing pastry and dessert fillings, checking the quality of ingredients, weighing and measuring ingredients and trouble shooting and adapting.
• Working alongside a talented team of chefs and bakers from all backgrounds who all have a desire and the drive to bake quality products and a genuine passion for their trade.
• Ensuring excellent time management and a strong commitment to hospitality.
• Requirements include at least 2 years' experience as a Baker working with sourdough, being committed to delivering an exceptional product and service, and possessing a minimum of a Cert III or equivalent in Commercial Cookery.
• Ideal candidates will possess a passion for the products made, creativity, eagerness to learn and showcase skill set, a real passion for hospitality, self-motivation and proactivity, great communication skills, exceptional organisational and time management skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
