Lead Complex Highway Infrastructure Projects

This role is a key opportunity to lead multiple complex inter-disciplinary projects in the highways sector. As a Technical Director/Design Manager, you will provide technical advice, lead by example, and champion a quality culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement project delivery best practices in risk and change management, planning, project set-up, and common data environments.
  • Ensure effective financial and project management controls are in place.
  • Drive project performance, service delivery, and technical and commercial outcomes.
  • Seek and pursue design opportunities, and prepare bids and tender submissions.
Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering degree with Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams for rail and/or road projects.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex highway infrastructure projects.
  • Well-developed technical and commercial skills, with a sound knowledge of the industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience.
