Test Analyst Opportunity in Federal Government Department

A progressive Federal Government department is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join their team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading system testing exercises, undertaking software testing using various tools and processes, and coordinating user acceptance testing for project and BAU work.

The initial contract is for a specified period with the possibility of extension.

  • Analyse documented specifications, user stories, and requirements to create test cases
  • Develop automated tests using best practice coding techniques and patterns
  • Adapt UI and API tests for load and performance testing
  • Update and maintain a Test Data API
  • Effectively prioritise testing efforts and test case execution

The successful candidate will have extensive experience undertaking system and integration testing of large-scale systems, using manual testing methods. They will also have well-developed testing skills, including the ability to write, review, and execute complex test cases.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a leading government department and contribute to critical national projects.
