The Genus Pole Foundations Australia Pty Ltd is a rapidly growing ASX listed company, a subsidiary of GenusPlus Group (GNP), providing pole reinforcement, asset inspection, and maintenance services. As a market leader in asset inspection and maintenance services for entities and the private sector, our expertise helps mitigate the risk of pole failure, preventing potential hazards such as fire or electrocution.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Key Operations Executive to oversee the day-to-day operations of our business, ensuring seamless delivery of services to clients and maintaining high standards in safety, quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- SHEQ Leadership: Ensure all work is conducted safely and meets compliance standards.
- Oversee the scheduling, management and monitoring of pole inspection and reinforcement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
- Manage a team of approximately 20-30 staff and subcontractors involved in the inspection, maintenance, and reinforcement of poles.
- Control and manage the P&L for the business, driving operational efficiency and profitability.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for client concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in a management role, ideally within the utilities, asset inspection, or pole reinforcement industries.
- Strong understanding of power utility operations and pole asset management.
- Effective team leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve business goals.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and staff.
- Capability to operate autonomously, demonstrating initiative, while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to our Employee Assistance Program, career development, growth opportunities, and competitive remuneration.
