Business Operations Specialist

Located in Sydney, our Credit Models and Exposures team plays a pivotal role in Macquarie's credit exposure framework, responsible for managing exposure data in credit systems and ensuring compliance with credit limits.

You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality credit information to credit and business teams. Your responsibilities will include detecting and resolving underlying problems, preparing business requirement documentation and testing plans, and driving process improvements.
In addition, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to communicate complex concepts, challenge current practices to identify opportunities for improvement, and work closely with business, credit, and technology teams to specify system and process changes required to accurately reflect our counterparty credit risk.
We're looking for an individual with previous experience as a Business Analyst, boasting a strong record of delivery within the Banking/Financial Services industry. You should have a sound understanding of financial markets, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels across both IT and business specialists.

The Risk Management Group is an independent, centralised function responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring, and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
