Genesis Minerals Limited is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our Process Maintenance department at Leonora Operations on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot refrigeration systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular maintenance per OEM specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Prioritize and complete tasks according to maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.
- Coordinate with supply, maintenance, and camp personnel to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Provide air conditioning/refrigeration system works and assist with emergency repairs.
- Manage refrigerant gas use and storage in compliance with regulations.
- Submit work requests for maintenance planning and record-keeping.
- Install, service, repair, and maintain mining facility refrigeration systems.
- Inspect systems for issues like leaks or malfunctions.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical and refrigeration equipment commonly installed in mine camps and infrastructure.
- Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Refrigeration Mechanic Qualifications (e.g. Cert III Refrigeration Mechanic).
- Refrigerant Handling License.
- WA Electrical Workers Licence – A Grade.
- Driver's License (C Class, Manual Car), minimum.
