We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team at the Forensic Hospital in New South Wales. As a Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and consultation regarding the management of patients with neuropsychological conditions and cognitive impairments.

About the Role

The Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist will work with multidisciplinary teams across the Forensic Hospital to assess, formulate and develop management plans for patients with complex presentations. You will also provide support, consultation and training for clinical/forensic psychologists within the hospital in the assessment and management of patients with neuropsychological conditions and impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment and consultation regarding the management of patients with neuropsychological conditions and cognitive impairments.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to assess, formulate and develop management plans for patients with complex presentations.
  • Provide support, consultation and training for clinical/forensic psychologists within the hospital.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Six-year accredited master's degree or higher in clinical neuropsychology and hold general registration and area of practice endorsement in clinical neuropsychology with Psychology Board of Australia under Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
  • Approved as a Psychology Board of Australia Supervisor.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in clinical neuropsychology including neuropsychological assessment and intervention with patients with mental health and substance use disorders.
