Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Sydney office for an initial 6-month contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and ensuring the quality of software components for our clients' products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve software components for our clients' products.
  • Write well-structured, documented, efficient code.
  • Participate in code reviews to improve code quality.
  • Investigate and fix bugs with the support team.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure software functionality.
  • Help diagnose and fix errors found during testing.
  • Create and maintain documentation for new and existing systems.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with the team.
  • Identify areas for improvement beyond daily tasks.
  • Focus on user needs while developing software.
  • Follow the SCRUM process and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety policies.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team (product managers, architects, analysts).
  • Manage daily tasks along with urgent business needs and unplanned issues.
  • Work in an agile team with internal staff, contractors, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with solution providers and research partners.
  • Work within the AWS environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience working on both the front-end (user interface) and back-end (server-side) of web applications.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.Net, and.Net Core for building.NET applications.
  • Experience with SQL Server development, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Familiarity with at least one additional general-purpose programming language beyond.NET.
  • Experience building web applications.
  • Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS, with a Dev Ops culture.
  • Experience using tools like Git, Bitbucket/Git Hub, Jira, and Docker for collaboration and project management.
  • In-depth understanding of Java Script/Type Script and related concepts.
