Senior Insolvency Accountant Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of formal insolvency appointments, including trade-on management, asset realisations, and statutory compliance.
  • Assist senior staff on advisory and informal engagements, such as Independent Business Reviews (IBRs) and turnaround assignments.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, investigations, and reporting to identify key issues and potential recoveries.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, recommendations, and correspondence for creditors, financiers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, legal advisors, banks, and other relevant parties.
  • Ensure meticulous accuracy and compliance in maintaining working papers and case files.
About You:

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented accountant ready to build their career in insolvency. To be successful, you will bring:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of direct experience working within Corporate Insolvency and/or Restructuring in an accounting firm environment.
  • Qualifications: A relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g., Accounting, Commerce, Finance).
  • Skills & Attributes: A strong demonstrated interest and drive to learn within the insolvency and restructuring field. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
