Job Description

We're seeking a skilled and passionate iOS Engineer to join our dynamic Mobile Team. As an iOS Engineer at Deputy, you'll have the opportunity to research and prototype with the latest mobile technology, playing an instrumental role in the growing use of our application.

Responsibilities
  1. Work alongside product, design, and engineering in a cross-functional team to design and develop our iOS applications and integration with cloud services in an agile manner.
  2. Contribute to Deputy's iOS applications, writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices, designing and shipping new features with a multi-functional team.
  3. Participate in solution design and code reviews, sharing knowledge with the team.
  4. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
  5. Collaborate with the team to determine the best solutions to difficult engineering problems.
  6. Work with the team to provide technical insight to maintain and improve our tech stack with the right architectural patterns, design methodologies, and modularisation techniques for a leading mobile platform.
Requirements
  1. Understanding of software development life cycle.
  2. Professional experience in iOS development.
  3. Proficient with Swift.
  4. Proficient understanding of code versioning systems, such as Git.
  5. Strong understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines with excellent attention to detail.
  6. Committed to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products.
  7. Creative and entrepreneurial, passionate about working with the latest technologies.
  8. Proactive and effective communication and teamwork skills.
