Job Description:

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for surfing and its heritage, with experience delivering projects and programs. They will also possess excellent administration skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a customer-facing role background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ANSM day-to-day operations, assisting the Visitor Information Centre with front-of-house duties.">
  • Lead a team of staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality exhibitions and programs at ANSM.">
  • E nsure ANSM operates in line with museum standards and Surf Coast Shire Council values and policies.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Mandatory Qualifications:

">
  • ">
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, administration, and managing staff/volunteers.">
  • Customer-facing role experience.">
  • Knowledge of surfing history and heritage.">
  • Museum or gallery operations/management experience.">
  • Current Working With Children Check.">
  • Permanent right to live and work in Australia.">
  • Police Check results suitable for this position.">

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Collection management experience, particularly in museums/archives.">
  • Public program, tour, and education program delivery experience.">
  • Social media and marketing plan delivery experience.">
