Clinical Dietitian

About the Role

This permanent part-time 3 days/week Clinical Dietitian role is based in Western Sydney and will join an expanding Restorative Care Team to deliver a high-quality dietetics service to HammondCare clients in the community. This is an exciting role with a broad caseload, offering autonomy to structure your own day to meet key deliverables while being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.

The essence of this role involves providing a high-quality dietetics service to HammondCare's Restorative Care team, HCP, and CHSP clients, including individual 1:1 home visits and group activities at various sites. You will assess and provide intervention to clients in their own homes, carry out rehabilitation home programs to improve functional independence and quality of life.

You will participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in assessing clients' level of function and care needs, setting care goals, and providing appropriate treatment and interventions. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement projects and continuing professional development, providing clinical supervision for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision of a high-quality dietetics service to HammondCare Restorative Care team, HCP, and CHSP clients

About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Clinical Dietitian with a strong commitment to engaging and aligning with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation, and Mission in Action. You must hold a tertiary qualification as a dietitian acceptable to the Dietitian's Association of Australia, maintain Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status, and have significant practical experience or extensive knowledge in a Rehabilitation or Aged Care setting.

In addition to these requirements, you will have effective communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated organisation and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also possess empathy and patience, strong administrative and computer skills, and experience working in a multicultural environment.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around $85,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that employment with HammondCare requires a National Police check and references.
