Job Opportunity: Skilled Labourer Position Available

We are currently seeking a skilled labourer to join our busy steel manufacturing operation in Brisbane.

Ongoing full-time hours with the potential to go permanent make this a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.

  • Immediate start with Monday to Friday hours available
  • Casual role with the opportunity to become permanent after 6 months based on performance
  • Ongoing work with potential for overtime and weekend shifts

Both day and afternoon shifts available:

  • Day Shift: 5:00am - 1:00pm (plus overtime & weekends)
  • Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm - 9:00pm (plus overtime & weekends)

Duties will include:

  • Manual handling of steel products
  • Forklift operation (if licensed)
  • Hand wiring and strapping
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • General labouring tasks

Requirements:

  • Current Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Own Personal Protective Equipment: long sleeve hi-vis shirt, long pants, steel cap lace-up boots
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25kg
  • Able to perform repetitive manual tasks
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
