Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our small, tight-knit team. As a key member of our product engineering team, you'll work closely with a product manager, designer, and other engineers to deliver innovative features and products that transform the way our customers work.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the product and design teams to ideate, discover, design, and implement features that empower our users to create their own digital solutions.
  • Leading the design and development of high-quality technical solutions for the Checkbox platform, including front-end and back-end development.
  • Adopting and exemplifying a pragmatic software development mindset with a focus on delivering value to customers while championing our team's guidelines and standards for high-quality and velocity software development.
About You

We're looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in building and maintaining web-based software products. You should have a strong background in React, Typescript, and Node JS, as well as experience across the whole stack, including front-end, back-end, SQL, CI/CD tools, containers, and operations. You should also be familiar with AWS services, including ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, Cloud Trail, and IAM.

We're looking for someone who is pragmatic, flexible, and nimble, with a passion for solving problems and delivering value to customers quickly. You should be able to articulate your thoughts, ideas, and concerns effectively and produce high-quality work that you're proud of.
