About the Role

Our investment operations team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Operations Director to lead and oversee the operational aspects of our firm's investment activities. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely trade processing, effective portfolio administration, and robust operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee middle and back office functions, ensuring smooth and accurate execution of operational workflows
  • Manage trade settlement processes, portfolio reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring in collaboration with custodians and administrators
  • Maintain oversight of outsourced service providers, ensuring service delivery meets contractual and performance expectations
  • Produce and review performance, compliance, and client reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, governance, and risk management requirements
  • Support the implementation of responsible investment practices, including ESG data and reporting requirements
  • Act as a key point of contact for investment teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders on operational matters

About You

  • Proven experience in an investment operations role within funds management, asset management, or a related financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of trade life cycle, portfolio administration, and operational controls
  • Experience managing relationships with custodians, administrators, and other service providers
  • Solid grasp of compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to investment operations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team
