Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Trolley Collection Driver to join our Proactive Services team at Woolworths Grafton.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas using a vehicle. As a Trolley Collection Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving a trolley collection vehicle and collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs;
  • Pushing trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle;
  • Collecting trolleys left in and around the store and returning them to the trolley bays;
  • Carrying out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle;
  • FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY AND OPERATIONAL PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES RELATED TO VEHICLE OPERATION AND TROLLEY COLLECTION;
  • FOLLOWING ALL ROAD RULES AND REPORTING ANY ISSUES RELATED TO UNRETRIEVABLE TROLLEYS;
  • May also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks.
About You

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A full (unrestricted) Australian driver's license, Provisional P2 drivers license (Green P Plates), or full International License;
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift;
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm;
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
