About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sleep Technician to join our team at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. As a Sleep Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, conducting, and analyzing sleep studies in our state-of-the-art sleep research facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sleep studies using advanced equipment and software
  • Analyze sleep data to diagnose and treat sleep disorders
  • Monitor patients during sleep studies and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Manage patient records and maintain accurate data
  • Collaborate with research team to develop and implement new sleep research protocols
Requirements
  • Experience in patient care and data collection
  • Knowledge of sleep disorders and sleep research
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current CPR certification and WWCC (where applicable)
Desirable Qualifications
  • Registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
  • Experience with sleep equipment and software
  • Knowledge of infection control practices
