About the Role:
The Chief Product Officer will be responsible for overseeing product strategy, developing the product roadmap, and delivering new products in line with the roadmap. Key responsibilities include conducting market research to ensure product relevance, identifying opportunities for new products, developing supplier relationships, designing and sourcing new products, and reviewing post-implementation performance.
Responsibilities:
- - Conduct extensive market research to identify opportunities for new products
- Develop and implement the product strategy, including a detailed product roadmap
- Design, develop, and source new products per the product roadmap
- Deliver in-depth product prototype presentations to executive management and stakeholders
- Negotiate product pricing and other supply terms with suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers to optimize product ordering and production scheduling
- Consider opportunities to improve product quality through redesign or Quality Control measures
- Create technical documents for publishing on multiple platforms
- Ensure products comply with all applicable standards, regulations, and laws
- Maintain product information within the company's ERP system
- Provide new product training for each department
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should have sound knowledge of the product development life cycle, excellent communication skills, and be highly organized and process-driven. Experience with NetSuite is highly regarded but not essential.
