Job Title: Clinical Nurse

We are seeking an accomplished nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Drug and Alcohol Inpatient Unit.

This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, ensuring patient and staff safety. Additionally, the successful candidate will work effectively with Psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

About the Position:
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care according to NSQHS standards and hospital policy.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
  • Take ownership of eLearning and mandatory training as required.
  • Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals and contribute to a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Current registration with AHPRA is essential for this position.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mental health inpatient settings is preferred.
  • A background in addictions/detox is advantageous but not required.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or Continuing Professional Development in mental health or addiction disorders would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and personal growth is highly valued.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Superior time management and organisational skills are necessary to meet deadlines and deliver results.
