We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join our team at the Sydney Steel Mill in Rooty Hill. This is a permanent, full-time position on day shift, with opportunities for overtime and shutdown work.

As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of production machinery by identifying areas for improvement, performing fabrication and inspection tasks, and executing planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance.

You will work closely with our team to achieve our goal of becoming carbon-neutral by 2030. We offer a dynamic work environment that values innovation, sustainability, and employee well-being.

• Perform fabrication and welding tasks to meet quality standards
• Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in production machinery
• Execute planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance tasks
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking or Fabrication
• High-risk license for confined spaces and working at heights
• Forklift and mobile crane license and experience (desirable)
• Preventative maintenance, breakdown, and shutdown experience (desirable)
• Proven ability to fabricate and weld to test standards
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Computer literacy and SAP experience (advantageous)
