Anton Murray Consulting is a Sydney-based firm providing recruitment services to the financial industry. Our client, a well-established Australian Corporate Trustee services business, is seeking an experienced Client Services Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of a portfolio of clients in order to build and maintain effective client relationships and deliver superior client service. They will ensure that all trustee obligations/operational activities are met in a timely manner.

Ideal candidates will have several years of experience in unit trust, managed funds, trustee or client services from either a fund manager, custodian or fund services business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional service and operational excellence in activities in accordance with policies.
  • Manage client relationships across clients, including maintaining client relationship plans & conducting regular client visits.
  • Ensure timeliness of all scheme regulatory lodgements.
  • Assist senior management to ensure compliance is managed appropriately in accordance with compliance plan controls.
  • Assist governance managers in monitoring service providers, including investment managers, custodians/prime brokers and administrators.
  • Assist with on-boarding and integration of new business.
  • Manage off-boarding of schemes that are winding up.
  • Develop and maintain operational relationships with key service providers.
  • Maintain and manage compliance systems for assigned schemes.
  • Present at board and compliance committee meetings as required.
  • Participate in disclosure document and fund promotion material due diligence if required.
  • Manage and oversee billing for assigned clients.
  • Review regular reports provided by each client for compliance with scheme/trust reporting and disclosure requirements.
  • Escalate any legal/regulatory red flags to senior members of the client management team.

A competitive salary package is on offer for this position, estimated to be around $120,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.

Please note that this role requires a strong understanding of the managed funds industry and operational experience relating to managed funds, custody/prime broker and administration.
