
Project Lead for Statewide Women's Cancer Initiative

We are seeking a Specialist to lead the Statewide Support Services for Women with Cancer project.
This collaboration between Queensland Health aims to deliver evidence-based client-centered support and information services and programs that respond to the needs of women affected by cancer and their families.
About The RoleThis role is Part-time, 30 hours per week. As the Specialist, you will provide development and oversight of the successful delivery and evaluation of this valuable initiative.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement annual project plans;
- Plan, deliver and evaluate key outcomes;
- Make recommendations for project development and work collaboratively to identify gaps in service, opportunities and barriers to services for Queenslanders, especially focusing on women living in regional and remote Queensland;
- Qualification or relevant experience in Health, Community services or related discipline;
- Demonstrated experience in scoping, planning and development of multi-stranded community projects;
- Demonstrated experience in responding to multiple and diverse stakeholder needs whilst ensuring the needs of the project are met;
- Demonstrated high-level experience in project coordination including monitoring budgets and report writing;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail;
- Demonstrated experience in working successfully with geographically dispersed teams;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly acquire new skills;
- Current Queensland driver's licence is required;
- An understanding of the impact that the diagnosis and treatment of cancer has on individuals, their partners and families is desirable, but not essential.
