Job Title: Seabed Engagement Director

The AusSeabed initiative is a strategic leadership role that requires a visionary leader to drive the project forward, engage with external partners, and lead a small team. This role involves overseeing governance, delivering work packages, and representing the initiative in national and international forums.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning and delivery of the AusSeabed initiative
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders
  • Managing governance structures and ensuring effective decision-making
  • Delivering work packages defined by the Steering Committee and Executive Board
  • Representing the AusSeabed initiative in national and international forums and events

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in strategic leadership and project management, with a track record of delivering complex projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Able to analyze complex data and develop strategic solutions to drive business growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
