About the Role

We are seeking a Retail Supervisor to join our team, responsible for managing the effective workflow of the shop floor, ensuring it is always well stocked.

  • This includes identifying tasks that need to be completed and delegating jobs to the right people.
  • The successful candidate will also supervise work, evaluate performance, and provide feedback to colleagues and/or your manager as required.
  • A key aspect of this role is leading by example, creating a positive and proactive work environment for your team.
  • You will also be responsible for managing conflict and training new hires.

In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively delegate tasks and provide feedback.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude.

You will also possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and come up with innovative solutions.
