Maintenance Gardener Job Summary

IRT is seeking an experienced Qualified Gardener to join our team in Illawarra.

We aim to improve the lives of more than 9100 people every day in NSW, the ACT and Qld.

The successful applicant will perform garden maintenance and general maintenance at IRT locations, including:

  • General rounds, gardens and lawn care
  • Removal of leaves, pruning and weeding
  • Application of fertilizers and mulches
  • Plant selection and planting
  • Safe use of equipment
  • Plant and Machinery Maintenance
  • Adhoc property maintenance
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated experience in lawns and garden care
  • Demonstrated experience in a general maintenance or trades background
  • An unrestricted current driver's license and ability to travel to other sites
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and follow work plans
  • Ability to use technology such as smart devices and computers
  • Sound understanding of WH&S principles & practices
