Design Engineer

About the Role

This is a key position for our engineering team, responsible for delivering high-quality solutions to clients. The successful candidate will have expertise in mechanical engineering and excellent communication skills.

  • Lead design teams and provide technical guidance to designers and draftspersons
  • Responsible for mechanical engineering aspects of projects and integration with other design teams and disciplines
  • Produce mechanical engineering documentation including technical specifications and datasheets
  • Manage technical aspects of procurement activities
  • Conduct inspections and site visits as required
Responsibilities

The Design Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Leading design teams and providing technical guidance
  • Managing technical aspects of projects
  • Producing engineering documentation
  • Conducting inspections and site visits
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in design engineering
  • An engineering degree in Mechanical or Structural engineering
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lead teams and deliver multiple projects concurrently
  • Good communication and presentation skills
