A Career in Cleaning and Trolley Operations

We are seeking a Cleaning and Trolley Operations Specialist to join our Proactive Services team at Woolworths Wetherill Park. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our stores, ensuring a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Job Summary

This is a part-time and casual opportunity, with flexibility to work early mornings (starting at 6am) or late nights (finishing at 10pm), including weekends. As a Cleaning and Trolley Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for completing specific cleaning tasks on a schedule, collecting trolleys, and supporting the store with waste processing routines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete tasks allocated to you in the daily planner such as sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room and emptying bins
  • Collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas
  • Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs
  • Help our customers in store by answering questions or providing directions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Physical fitness as the role involves physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs
  • Flexibility to work in different environments such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers and carparks
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm
  • A good eye for cleanliness and small details

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is around $25.00 per hour, based on industry standards and the level of responsibility involved. However, please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances.
